Ludhiana Children’s Center program report
Thank you for sponsoring a child at the Ludhiana Children’s Center . . .
Thank you for sponsoring a child at the Ludhiana Children’s Center in India. Your gift has changed a child’s future forever.
We want to take this opportunity to let you know what your sponsored child and other children in the program have been up to this year … all because of your compassionate, selfless giving.
Your support ensures your sponsored child receives quality educational opportunities.
All of the children receive academic tutoring and have a chance to attend life-skills classes and Bible lessons. You also help provide healthy meals for your sponsored child and other kids at the center so they can focus on their studies instead of an empty stomach.
Recently, your sponsored child enjoyed a special sports day where everyone played games together and learned about teamwork. The games included balancing a lemon on a spoon, a sack race, 100-meter dashes, musical chairs, and more. The children were also treated to light refreshments in the morning and a delicious lunch in the afternoon.
Children were chosen as captains and vice captains allowing for lessons in leadership. At the end of the day, the first, second, and third-place winners of each event were awarded prizes and medals.
Thanks to your generosity, each child experienced fun, healthy competition and exercise with friends. This event not only gave your sponsored child the opportunity to have fun outside of school, but it also provided joy in the midst of hardship. “It was an unforgettable [day] for these poor children who have never seen such an event,” the staff said.
Your gift of sponsorship has been life changing!
