God calls us as Christ-followers to be His witnesses “to the ends of the earth.” Every month, World Help’s Bibles for All Ambassadors help fulfill that call by providing God’s Word in some of the most isolated and unreached parts of the world.
These Bibles help change lives in remote communities across the world — including Avani’s.
Avani, whose name I’ve changed for privacy, comes from a rural village in South Asia where many people have never heard the Gospel. Her family was going through a difficult time because her father was severely ill and couldn’t get out of bed. The entire family was losing hope, both for his recovery and for a better future.
Avani traveled three hours to receive a Bible for her and her family
When our partners arrived at their home to share the Gospel, they saw that Avani’s father was very sick and began to pray for him.
Miraculously, God healed Avani’s father! Determined to know more about the One who had healed her dad and given her family hope, Avani rode her bike for three hours to receive a Bible at our partner’s distribution center.
Thanks to World Help’s Bibles for All Ambassadors, our partner had plenty of copies of God’s Word and Avani didn’t go home empty-handed!
Now, Avani has her very own Bible, and she’s excited to learn more about Jesus and His love for her. Avani is also eager to share her new knowledge with her family.
