Millions of Filipinos are still struggling to survive in the aftermath of Super Typhoon Haiyan. We need your help today to continue meeting immediate needs and to begin rebuilding communities from the ground up.
Today, we want to share with you the latest video update from the frontlines of our work on the devastated island of Bantayan, where 95 percent of homes were damaged or destroyed by the super storm.

Through the generous support of so many, World Help has been able to provide thousands of families with crucial, life-saving provisions at their greatest hour of need.
We will continue to serve in this capacity, seeking out the orphaned, the helpless, and the vulnerable. But our long-term work in the wake of this humanitarian disaster is far from over.
Hundreds of thousands have completely lost their means of support. Their fishing boats have been destroyed, their crops washed away. With no way to provide for their families, multitudes will continue to suffer in anonymity.
It has been modestly estimated that initial rebuilding efforts could take two to three years, depending on the level of assistance given by the international community.
Our lead partner, Les Tilka, shared these gripping words from the field:
World Help’s mission is to provide the framework to give the Filipino people their lives back:
- To support initiatives to rebuild homes, places of business, churches, and schools.
- To provide a means for families to earn income.
- To walk alongside the Filipino people as they rise from the ashes of devastation and loss into a world where hope is possible again.
With your help, we can continue saving lives and rebuilding typhoon-ravaged communities.
Please consider making this Christmas about giving the greatest gift of all to someone who has lost everything they have . . . hope.
Stand with us today as we continue to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the people of the Philippines.
