The Christmas season has certainly been merry and bright for Children of the World this year on the Rescue Tour! It’s been a thrilling few months for the children, making new friends, exploring new cities, and enjoying new holiday traditions.
With Christmas only a few days away, the meaning of rescue is taking on an even deeper meaning for the children . . . celebrating the birth of Jesus in churches across the nation has allowed the true meaning of Christmas to come to life.
Thank you for so warmly welcoming the choir into your homes and making them feel like a part of your family. This will certainly be a Christmas they’ll never forget.
As we continue to document our journey around the country, we wanted to take a moment to update you on the latest. Here are a few recent highlights!
The choir shared their first Thanksgiving meal together, each enjoying food from their home countries.
After finishing a delicious Thanksgiving meal, the children spent the afternoon playing badminton, corn hole, and frisbee, while soaking up the beautiful weather.
In Burlington, North Carolina, the children had the opportunity to meet firemen and learn about safety at a local fire station!
The children had the time of their lives expressing their creativity while finger-painting at Freedom Church in Milledgeville, Georgia.

Thank you again for your loving support of this remarkable group of children. Your compassion, encouragement, and warm hospitality are allowing them to comprehend the love of God more deeply . . . a God who came to earth to rescue impoverished children all around the world.
Wishing you great tidings of comfort and joy this Christmas,
The Children of the World Team
