About the Author

Noel Brewer Yeatts is president of World Help, a Christian humanitarian organization serving the physical and spiritual needs of people in impoverished communities around the world. World Help gives help for today and hope for tomorrow through humanitarian aid and relief, community development, education and sustainability projects, Bible distribution, and church planting.

Noel was named president in 2019, having served for more than two decades in various aspects of the organization’s humanitarian work. During her tenure, Noel has not only led through the pandemic, but also has spearheaded World Help’s refugee crisis work in Afghanistan and Ukraine, as well as fought for victims of modern slavery and sex trafficking. Noel has a passion to change the face of missions, to breathe new life into it, and to invite people of faith into a new kind of kingdom work.

A frequent speaker at conferences and churches, Noel is also the author of several books including Awake: Doing a World of Good, One Person at a Time.

When Noel is not traveling the world, she loves spending time with her husband, Patrick; her two adult sons, Riley and Bentley; and her dog, Thunder. She lives in Lynchburg, Virginia, near World Help’s headquarters. Learn more at worldhelp.net.
