Practicon, Inc.

Corporate partner since 2010

Practicon, Inc. develops innovative products to solve common problems in the dental industry. Practicon was started in 1982 by Ann Page Griffin and has been dedicated to improving dentistry ever since. Today, the family business distributes its catalog around the world, selling more than 3,000 dental products, and has become a leading distributor in the dental field.

Nearly two decades ago, Practicon President Scott Griffin was introduced to World Help when the Children of the World International Children’s Choir visited his church. Scott opened his home to three girls from the choir, who left such an impact that the family business decided to partner with World Help. Scott even became a member of the board of directors.

When Practicon began looking for a way to make a global difference in 2010, Scott reached out to World Help to see how his company could help provide clean water around the world. In 2013, Practicon began to donate a portion of every Smile Goods toothbrush to building clean-water wells in impoverished communities. To date, the company has funded 13 wells in Guatemala, Uganda, Zimbabwe, India, and Peru.

Your gift will be used exclusively for the exempt purposes of World Help, a 501(c)(3) organization, and will be considered tax-deductible to the full extent allowed under the federal tax laws. You should consult with your personal income tax advisor for more guidance about your individual tax situation. Gifts are considered to be without restriction unless explicitly stipulated by the donor. All restricted gifts for a specific project receive an administrative assessment, which is used to offset administrative and fundraising costs.

If contributed funds exceed the specific need of a project, or due to unforeseen circumstances the project cannot be completed, those funds will be used where they will make the greatest impact to fulfill the mission and purpose of World Help.
