Briante is a very smart girl, and her teachers say she is doing excellent in school. She especially enjoys her math class. Although she doesn’t know yet what she wants to be when she grows up, she knows that getting a good education will help her reach whatever goals she can dream up. In her free time, you can usually find Briante playing hide-and-seek.
Briante lives with her parents and three siblings. Her father was in an accident that caused him to lose one of his arms, so it’s up to Briante’s mom to provide for the family. The money she makes as a housekeeper isn’t always enough to meet all their daily needs, though. Sponsorship will provide Briante with things like nutritious meals and a quality education.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
