Brenda is a jolly little girl who loves to laugh. Her favorite pastimes include playing with her dolls and spending time with her friends. Even though she is young, she’s already a diligent student, especially in her art class. When she grows up, Brenda hopes to use her education to become a nurse.
Brenda’s parents were very young when they had her, and her mother struggled to finish school with a baby to take care of. This has made finding a good job difficult. Brenda’s father works as a farmer, and her mother sells vegetables around the village. Still, they often have trouble making ends meet. Sponsorship will provide Brenda with things like nutritious meals and a quality education.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
