Tatu is an outgoing young girl who loves to make new friends. Her mother is excited to watch her daughter grow into the successful young woman she desires to be. In the future, Tatu hopes to become a nurse so that she can help care for the sick people in her village. Unfortunately, Tatu and her family are all too familiar with poverty. Her father passed away from HIV/AIDS a few years ago, leaving her mother to care for seven children alone. She struggles to find stable employment and cannot afford basic necessities for the children. Through sponsorship, Tatu will receive things like nutritious meals and a continuing education.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
