Meet Patience

ID: UGAGSS2455

Patience is a strong-willed young girl who can often be found singing and playing with her friends. At school, she loves to learn about numbers and counting in her math class. With a compassionate spirit, Patience hopes to become a nurse and care for the sick people in her village. Times have been hard for Patience and her family since her father was killed in an accident. Unable to take care of her, Patience?s mother sent her to live with an aunt. Unfortunately, she also struggles to provide Patience with basic essentials and cannot afford her school fees. Sponsorship will now provide Patience with things like nutritious meals, basic medical care, and a continuing education.

“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”

— Lita, Kentucky

“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”

— Kayla, Virginia

“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”

— Margaret, California
