Mulakatete is an active and outgoing girl who loves to participate in netball competitions with her friends. She studies diligently to earn good grades in school, and she has taken a special interest in her math class. With a tender heart, Mulakatete dreams of becoming a nurse. Mulakatete is no stranger to hardship and poverty. Her father served as a local pastor but was killed in a tragic accident, leaving her mother alone with seven children. Although her mother strives daily to find consistent employment, her meager income is often insufficient for even basic essentials. Sponsorship will now provide Mulakatete with things like nutritious food, durable clothing, and a continuing education.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
