Meet Emmanuel

ID: UGAGSS3119

Emmanuel has a love for drawing and creates beautiful pictures both in and out of his art class. When he is not working on homework, Emmanuel can often be found playing soccer with his friends. In the future, Emmanuel plans on becoming a teacher so he can share his love of school. Emmanuel is no stranger to heartache and poverty. His mother died when he was young, leaving his father alone to take care of and provide for Emmanuel and his four siblings. His father?s low wages as a peasant are not enough to support the large family. Sponsorship will now provide Emmanuel with things like nutritious food, durable clothing, and a continuing education.

“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”

— Lita, Kentucky

“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”

— Kayla, Virginia

“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”

— Margaret, California
