Patience is a cheerful little girl who enjoys playing ball with her friends. During school, she enjoys practicing her numbers by counting in math class. One day, Patience hopes to use her education to become a nurse so she can help sick people feel better.
Patience is no stranger to poverty. After her father passed away, her mother left her in the care of her grandmother. Patience’s grandmother works as a peasant farmer, but the little income she earns is not enough to provide basic needs. Sponsorship will give Patience access to things like nutritious food, durable clothing, and a continuing education.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
