Ismael is an outgoing and social young boy. As a student, he is working very hard to earn the best grades he can and is particularly interested in his mathematics class. When he isn't in class, Ismael is usually found outdoors playing soccer with his friends. One day, with an adventurous spirit, he would like to become a pilot and travel the world. Life has been anything but easy for Ismael. He currently is under the care of his grandmother as his parents were unable to meet his needs. She struggles to provide for him the way that he needs, and he often goes without proper care. Sponsorship now gives Ismael access to things like nutritious meals and a continuing education.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
