Fred is a humble young boy known for his outgoing personality. A bright student, he loves learning new things about the English language when he attends school. When not in school or doing chores, Fred enjoys playing soccer with his friends. With a compassionate heart, he hopes to one day become a doctor. Fred was born into a poor peasant family of nine children. His parents do their best to provide for all of their children, but on the meager income of peasantry work, they often cannot make ends meet. Frequently, they cannot afford Fred?s school fees. Through sponsorship, Fred will receive things like nutritious meals and a continuing education.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
