Joyce is a well-behaved and organized girl. She likes going to school and especially looks forward to her math class each day. During her free time, she can often be found swimming with her friends or reading a good book. When she grows up, Joyce hopes to become a nurse so she can help sick people feel better.
Joyce is no stranger to hardship and poverty. Her father struggles with an alcohol problem, which has sadly had a large impact on the family’s well-being. He wastes the money the family makes, leaving Joyce without access to many basic necessities. Sponsorship will provide Joyce with things like nutritious food and a quality education.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
