William is a determined and outgoing young boy who can often be found playing soccer with all his friends. He’s already working hard to get good grades in school and especially likes learning his numbers. With big dreams for the future, William wants to use his education to become an engineer when he grows up.

Sadly, William is no stranger to poverty. His parents don’t have stable employment and must look for odd jobs around their community every day. Despite their best efforts, they earn meager wages and struggle to make ends meet. As a result, William often goes without his basic needs.
