Meet Gorret Hilda

ID: UGAKWA018

Gorret is an active and social girl who enjoys dancing with all her friends. Her favorite subject in school is math, where she is learning to add, subtract, multiply, and divide different amounts. Gorret dreams of becoming an engineer when she grows up to put new ideas into motion that will help people.

Gorret has grown up with many obstacles to overcome. She currently lives with her mother and her father. Her parents care for the children, but do not have permanent jobs. At this time, their income is not enough to consistently provide Gorret with what she needs. Sponsorship will provide Gorret with things like nutritious meals and a quality education to help fulfill her dream of becoming an engineer.

“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”

— Lita, Kentucky

“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”

— Kayla, Virginia

“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”

— Margaret, California
