Meet Joseph

ID: UGAKWA028

Joseph is an active and young boy who enjoys singing with all his friends. His favorite subject in school is writing, where he is learning to write essays, expand vocabulary, and construct stories. Joseph dreams of becoming a driver when he grows up to help others get to and from different locations while earning a living for his family.

Joseph has grown up with many obstacles to overcome. He currently lives with his mother and his father. His parents care for the children, but do not have permanent jobs. At this time, their income is not enough to consistently provide Joseph with what he needs. Sponsorship will provide Joseph with things like nutritious meals and a quality education to help fulfill his dream of becoming a Driver.

“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”

— Lita, Kentucky

“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”

— Kayla, Virginia

“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”

— Margaret, California
