Melissa is an active and young girl who enjoys singing with all her friends. Her favorite subject in school is math, where she is learning to add, subtract, multiply, and divide different amounts. Melissa dreams of becoming a nurse when she grows up to help others who are sick and who need medical assistance.
Melissa has grown up with many obstacles to overcome. She currently lives with her mother and her father. Her parents care for the children, but do not have permanent jobs. At this time, their income is not enough to consistently provide Melissa with what she needs. Sponsorship will provide Melissa with things like nutritious meals and a quality education to help fulfill her dream of becoming a nurse.
