Meet Calton

ID: UGAKWA038

Carlton is a humble and young boy who enjoys playing football with all his friends. His favorite subject in school is writing, where he is learning to write short essays, expand vocabulary, and construct stories. Carlton dreams of becoming a doctor when he grows up to help others who are sick and who need medical assistance.

Carlton has grown up with many obstacles to overcome. He currently lives with his grandfather as his father passed away and his mother is not able to take care of him. His grandfather does not have a permanent job. At this time, his income is not enough to consistently provide Carlton with what he needs. Sponsorship will provide Carlton with things like nutritious meals and a quality education to help fulfill his dream of becoming a doctor.

“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”

— Lita, Kentucky

“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”

— Kayla, Virginia

“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”

— Margaret, California
