Alvin is an introverted boy who likes to keep to himself. But when he gets to play soccer, he comes out of his shell. He loves to learn in school, but his favorite subject is English. With a desire to serve his community, Alvin wants to be a physician.
Alvin is no stranger to poverty. His father works as a traffic cop, but his meager income isn’t enough to provide for Alvin and his six siblings. Despite his best efforts, Alvin often goes without his basic needs and desperately needs help.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
