Meet Simon

ID: UGANKS093

Peter may be shy, but he comes out of his shell when he gets to play soccer with all his friends. He also enjoys learning all subjects at school, but his favorite class is English. With a passion for drawing, Peter wants to become an artist when he grows up.

Tragically, Peter’s mother died in a car accident, leaving him and his four siblings in the sole care of their father. He works as a builder, but his meager income is far from enough to make ends meet. As a result, Peter often goes without his daily necessities.

“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”

— Lita, Kentucky

“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”

— Kayla, Virginia

“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”

— Margaret, California
