Moldova, a small country neighboring Ukraine, is both a haven and a transit route for refugees fleeing the ongoing war. The nation currently hosts around 110,000 Ukrainian refugees, the majority of them women and children. Most were forced to leave their husbands, brothers, and fathers behind to fight in the war.
Affording essentials like food, clean water, and clothing is nearly impossible for Ukrainian refugees who can’t find jobs. And with no idea when they’ll return home, countless people desperately need help.
