Did you know the first mass-produced edition of the Bible was published in 1455? Since then, billions of copies have been printed and sold all around the world — making the Bible the most printed Book in history.
Even so, countless Christ-followers and seekers worldwide don’t have their own Bibles.

Giving someone a Bible in their native language will help them grow in their faith
Kabongezo is a small, rural community in Uganda. It has a thriving church, but poverty has significantly impacted its spiritual growth and participation.
That’s because most of the church’s members can’t afford their own copies of God’s Word. Without Bibles, it was especially challenging to grow spiritually.
But everything changed when the World Help family stepped in to help. Thanks to their incredible generosity, a whole shipment of Bibles recently arrived in Kabongezo!
These new copies of God’s Word transformed hundreds of lives in the community — including Grace’s.
Grace is a Christ-follower who did her best to teach her family about Jesus and raise them with Christian values. But without a Bible of her own, she struggled to guide her family in the right direction. She also suffered in her own spiritual life.
“I felt spiritually defenseless, lacking the ‘weapon’ of God’s Word in spiritual battles,” Grace said.

The one Bible that Grace received will impact multiple people as she shares the Good News!
Like many others in Kabongezo, Grace and her family live in poverty. She works hard just to put food on the table, and there’s rarely money left over after purchasing essentials. Even if Grace could afford a Bible, she would have to travel a long way to the nearest town to purchase one.
That’s why this shipment of Bibles was nothing short of a miracle for Grace! After receiving her own Bible, her life completely changed.
“I have gained a clearer understanding of how to live as a Christian, using Scripture as my guide for daily decisions,” Grace said. “The Bible has become my spiritual weapon, helping me face and overcome various life challenges.”
Grace has also used God’s Word to continue teaching her family about Jesus. Now that she has Scripture to depend on, she knows she’s leading her children in the right direction.
“Having direct access to God’s Word has empowered me to lead my family in a godly direction,” she said. “I can now use Scripture as a foundation for teaching and nurturing my family’s faith.”
In fact, the arrival of these Bibles has changed the entire dynamic in Kabongezo. Pastor Joseph, who leads the Kabongezo Christian Fellowship Church, remarked that access to God’s Word has better equipped the church’s members for spiritual growth and outreach.
“The availability of Bibles has led to increased participation in church activities, stronger family units within our congregation, [the] enhanced ability to reach our community, and deeper understanding of God’s Word,” he said.
What an incredible impact! Kabongezo is just one example of how God’s Word transforms entire families, churches, and communities.
