History & Impact

World Help was born out of humble beginnings . . . with just a handful of staff members and God-sized ambition.

Our work began in 1991 distributing Bibles across Eastern Europe. Almost immediately, God opened the doors to share the Gospel in the former Soviet Union. Through an initiative called “Moscow for Jesus,” millions of Russians heard the Good News for the very first time.

This initiative produced remarkable results . . . lives were changed for eternity. Each year, our goals to impact more lives grew more audacious, leaving plenty of room for God to use our faithful supporters, like you, to accomplish the miraculous.

Over the years, God has enabled us to do more than we ever could have imagined through the generosity of faithful supporters, like you, and the expertise of our growing network of international partners.

In addition to Bible distribution, church planting, and humanitarian aid, we’ve provided more than 50,000 sponsorships for abandoned and orphaned children. Nearly 800 clean-water projects have been provided in impoverished communities worldwide, revolutionizing health and paving the way for educational and job opportunities.

Following God’s vision has opened the doors for miracles to happen. Since inception, World Help has impacted more than 82 million lives in 71 countries around the world.

THE PRESENT: The vision today

Since that trip to Moscow, World Help has touched over 80 million lives in more than 70 countries. Today, we focus on meeting urgent physical needs while also investing in sustainable solutions in the fight against poverty and spiritual darkness. Every need we help meet not only helps save a life, but also opens the doors for our partners around the world to share the love of Jesus with people who do not know Him.

Our Financial Commitment

Your gift will be used exclusively for the exempt purposes of World Help, a 501(c)(3) organization, and will be considered tax-deductible to the full extent allowed under the federal tax laws. You should consult with your personal income tax advisor for more guidance about your individual tax situation. Gifts are considered to be without restriction unless explicitly stipulated by the donor. All restricted gifts for a specific project receive an administrative assessment, which is used to offset administrative and fundraising costs.

If contributed funds exceed the specific need of a project, or due to unforeseen circumstances the project cannot be completed, those funds will be used where they will make the greatest impact to fulfill the mission and purpose of World Help.
