HURRICANE FLORENCE: Send immediate help

Vernon Brewer
Sep 15, 2018

I’m reaching out to you today with a heavy heart.

As you read this, many Americans are struggling to survive in the wake of Hurricane Florence. Numerous people have lost their homes, their belongings … and they’re scared. Thousands are without power and water, and they are running out of food.

But for $50, you can ensure one hurricane victim doesn’t have to go without necessities.

We are working with disaster response teams already on the ground, assessing the damage and praying with people affected. I am being updated regularly on their progress, and I hope to have more information for you soon.

The one thing I know for certain is that these people need emergency supplies like food, hygiene kits, and especially clean water. We’ve partnered with relief organizations and churches in the affected area to provide critical supplies. For $50, you can help provide emergency aid to someone directly impacted by Hurricane Florence.

If you live in the Lynchburg, Virginia, area, we are also accepting physical donations of food, toiletries, and more at our main office. We will be accepting these physical donations during our normal operating hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday.

And please, continue to pray for the victims of Hurricane Florence as they face this great hour of need.
