Transform Lives at Star School in Rwanda

After Rwanda’s historic genocide in 1994, Star School was established to help children affected by this tragedy. Although it’s been 30 years now, the country is still healing, and Star School plays a vital role in that. It exists to provide impoverished children with necessities like food, clean water, and hygiene products while also empowering them to break the cycle of poverty through quality education. However, the campus desperately needs three major renovations to continue providing the best learning environment possible for the students.

Your gift will help Star School improve the health and education of over 1,400 students in Rwanda and give them a brighter future.

In addition to Star School, Leading & Loving It is also visiting two child sponsorship programs supported by World Help in Uganda. Many of the children in these programs have been impacted by poverty, war, disease, or exploitation. But by sponsoring one of these boys or girls, you will give them essentials like healthy food, medical care, educational opportunities, spiritual discipleship, and more. You’ll also be able to keep in touch by writing them letters!

For just $40 a month, you can be the hands and feet of Jesus to a child in need and equip them with the tools necessary to break the cycle of poverty.

Our Financial Commitment

Your gift will be used exclusively for the exempt purposes of World Help, a 501(c)(3) organization, and will be considered tax-deductible to the full extent allowed under the federal tax laws. You should consult with your personal income tax advisor for more guidance about your individual tax situation. Gifts are considered to be without restriction unless explicitly stipulated by the donor. All restricted gifts for a specific project receive an administrative assessment, which is used to offset administrative and fundraising costs.

If contributed funds exceed the specific need of a project, or due to unforeseen circumstances the project cannot be completed, those funds will be used where they will make the greatest impact to fulfill the mission and purpose of World Help.
