Imagine if you lived every day like it was the start of a new year … what would change?

Maybe you would have more hope, knowing that tomorrow holds endless possibilities. Or perhaps you wouldn’t get so discouraged if you missed one day of your resolution — because tomorrow would be a fresh start.

New Year’s Day always holds so much promise. An expectation for something great hangs in the air. But what happens to that feeling the other 364 days of the year?

Lamentations tells us that God’s love and mercies begin again each morning.

While the luster of the new year has worn off for many of us by now, you can still seek out that feeling of hope and anticipation.

God doesn’t expect the world to change in a day, and neither should we. Even when you’re feeling discouraged, He is still moving.

We can rest easy knowing that when we wake up in the morning, we’re wrapped in His love and compassion.

Every single day is full of potential — not just Jan. 1. All you have to do is listen for His voice and ask yourself, “What is God trying to teach me today?”
