Merry Christmas from the Children of the World!

April Stumme
Dec 23, 2017

The boys and girls in the Children of the World choir are so excited to be spending their first holiday season in the United States!

For Thanksgiving, they decorated fall-themed cookies and made turkey hats, which they proudly wore while they enjoyed a traditional American feast. By special request, the meal also included one of the kids’ favorite foods — rice.

For weeks, the children have been counting down the days until Christmas. Many have already decorated trees with their host families, made gingerbread houses, and gone to see Christmas lights.

The choir will be spending Christmas Day in North Carolina, where they will take time to give back by serving at a nursing home. They also will have a chance to open presents, which have been generously donated by their host families.

The kids’ biggest Christmas present of all came early this year — a trip to Disney World!

They loved all the rides and had fun seeing their favorite characters in the parade. One of their favorite parts was riding It’s a Small World and pointing out the characters representing their home countries!

Thank you so much for supporting and praying for the choir as they travel this year. All of us at World Help are so thankful for you, and the choir is encouraged every day knowing that you’re cheering them on.

Have a very Merry Christmas, and don’t forget to follow us on Facebook to see more photos of the Children of the World. You also can book the choir or check their tour schedule to see when they’ll be in a city near you.
