God asks that we tithe the first fruits, not the “what’s left fruit”. We are so blessed in this country with comforts and access to basic needs, like clean water or medicine, but so many people do not have these basics. Jesus died for me to provide salvation and forgiveness and to be His hands and feet Setting up an automatic donation on payday is the current equivalent of giving of the first fruits. I am passionate about giving to World Help because they send resources where they are truly needed. How can I spend money frivolously when there are suffering people who need that money? God has called me to be a steward of his resources. My money is His money, and I need to spend it in a way that reflects God’s heart.
