Winter is always hard for people living in poverty, but it’s especially difficult for children. They will carry the memories of sleepless nights without food and cold winter days with no way to keep warm for the rest of their lives.

Right now, many boys and girls around the globe are facing plummeting temperatures and don’t have basic essentials like food, warm clothing, blankets, and shelter.

Today, you can provide lifesaving winter aid to people in need, including children like Alina.

Little Alina is still a child, but she’s endured enough hardship to last a lifetime.

Alina lives in Ukraine, where below-freezing temperatures and snow are the norm this time of year. After her mother had died, her stepfather was left as her only guardian … but he was physically abusive and also refused to provide for her.

As a result, Alina only had a thin, dirty coat that did little to protect her from the freezing temperatures.

Thankfully, she was taken in by one of our Ukraine partners, but she still desperately needed winter essentials like a warm coat. These items have become especially difficult to get because of the war still raging in Ukraine.

For children and others like Alina, every day without supplies like warm clothing is a battle for survival.

Will you be a lifeline for a child or another person in need today?

Every $12 you give will provide one person struggling to survive the winter with critical essentials like nutritious food, warm blankets, thick clothing, God’s Word, and more. These items will literally help save lives during the coldest months of the year.

Best of all, your gift will be a tangible reminder of God’s love for someone during a difficult time.

Please give to help a person like Alina today.
