For decades, Haitians have struggled with the effects of poverty that have characterized their country as the poorest in the Western Hemisphere. After the devastating earthquake of 2010, the government, economy, and social structure of Haiti crumbled completely and is now struggling to rebuild out of the rubble.
How it Works
This program, located in northern Haiti, is a beacon of hope for the entire community. The campus houses a state-of-the-art medical clinic that is a place of refuge for children who are in need of urgent and long-term medical care. Through building relationships in the surrounding community and participating in an exceptional education program, lasting and sustainable change is cultivated.
