We like to keep you updated about what your sponsored child and other kids in the program have been up to over the past year… all because of your compassionate giving. And since the holiday season is not too far away, we thought you’d like to know how your support made Christmas extra magical for your sponsored child last year.

A Christmas packed with fun

The Christmas season was filled with a variety of events for families, children, and teens. The first event included a day of crafts and a Christmas play. The children baked Christmas cookies, made chocolate marshmallows, cooked homemade soup, and learned to write their names in Hebrew. At the conclusion of the program, the children were presented with their Christmas gifts.

During the second event, the children gathered in the morning for treats and games. The life-sized Jenga was their favorite! They also participated in competitions that focused on building their teamwork skills. This was followed by a lesson on the true meaning of Christmas and a hot dog lunch.

The last event was ice skating for teens, followed by lunch and games.
