“Children are one third of our population and all of our future.”
This statement was first made nearly 40 years ago by the Select Panel for the Promotion of Child Health. And while population statistics may have fluctuated throughout the years, the second part of this quote will always remain the same. Children are the future.
Over the past year, you invested in a better future world by investing in its children. You helped save the lives of boys and girls — the leaders and world changers of tomorrow — by providing aid like healthy food, clean water, education, and access to medical care.
In 2019, the World Help family sponsored 13,300 children in 21 countries. You also helped rescue 93 children from extreme malnutrition in Guatemala, Uganda, and Haiti.
Additionally, you provided sustainable nutrition through gifts like cows and chicken as well as vocational training and other resources for parents so they would have a reliable income to help care for their kids.

Emelyn lives in Guatemala with her mom. Her parents are separated, and her father sometimes helps financially — but not always. This leaves her mother struggling to provide for Emelyn on the small income she makes as a store clerk.
Emelyn loves going to school. She wants to attend university and eventually become a teacher. But she’d never be able to achieve this if it weren’t for sponsorship.
Because of her generous sponsors, Emelyn is able to go to school as well as receive nutritious food, clean water, clothing, and medical care.
Thankful for the opportunity to continue her education, Emelyn praises God for her sponsor.
“I am very grateful to be part of the sponsorship program,” Emelyn said. “It has been a great blessing for me and my family. Because of it, I will continue studying, and I know that I can achieve my dream of being a preschool teacher.”
