Brando is very energetic and can often be seen running through his village playing soccer or coloring with his friends. He enjoys his time in school, where he learns skills and socializes with his friends. When he grows up, Brando hopes to become a mechanic like his father. Brando comes from a desolate and poor family. His father works hard all day as a mechanic, but is paid very little and often sporadically. Since Brandos mother must care for the household, there is no way for the family to receive additional income and they often cannot make ends meet.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
