One of Banys favorite activities is playing soccer. He can often be seen kicking a ball around with his friends and playing in tournaments. In school, he is just beginning his education but he loves to color and work with his hands. Banys family lives in deep hardship and poverty. Though his father is a hardworking mechanic, he makes very little and often goes unpaid. This makes it hard for the family to afford basic needs as Banys mother must stay home and care for the children.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
