Meet Achshal Magdalene

ID: INDFHP160

Achshal is an outgoing young girl who loves to spend her free time memorizing bible verses, dancing, and drawing pictures for her friends. Her parents are very excited to watch her grow up and accomplish everything that she dreams of. Achshal?s father works as a pastor and he hopes to help spread the Gospel in their home city. Her mother stays at home and raises the children and maintains the household, so she is unable to help financially. Even though Achshal?s parents work very hard, their income is not sufficient enough to support her and her older brother. Sponsorship gives Achshal access to things like educational assistance and basic medical care.

“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”

— Lita, Kentucky

“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”

— Kayla, Virginia

“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”

— Margaret, California
