Joel is the eldest of two children. Since he was able to enter the sponsorship program, he has had the privilege of attending school where he is making good progress. Joel hopes that he can one day finish his studies and become a doctor so that he can help care for those in need. Since a very young age, Joel has watched his mother and father struggle to provide for him and his younger sister. His mother stays at home and cares for the house, while his father works in full time ministry. Joel?s parents worry about providing for their family on a constant basis and desperately want to see him succeed. Sponsorship now gives Joel access to things like educational assistance and basic medical care.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
