Biraj is a kindhearted and cheerful young boy. Like many boys his age, he can usually be found playing various games and laughing with his friends in his free time. Biraj is not yet in school, but he looks forward to the day he can begin as he enjoys learning new things. Biraj comes from a very poor home. His father searches for odd jobs in the village each day, but he only earns a minimal and unreliable income. Since his mother must stay home to care for their children, she cannot offer any additional income. Sponsorship now gives Biraj access to things like a quality education, nutritious meals, and basic medical care.
