Raj is known for his friendly personality. He works hard to earn good grades in school, and he specifically looks forward to his English class each day. With a brave spirit, Raj hopes to one day become a police officer so he can help protect his village from crime. Raj is all too familiar with poverty, living with his parents in an impoverished village in India. His father searches for odd jobs throughout the village each day, but he only earns a minimal and unreliable income. Since his mother must stay home to care for their children, she cannot offer any additional income. Sponsorship now gives Raj access to things like a quality education, nutritious meals, and basic medical care.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
