Maahi has a shy personality and prefers to spend her free time reading books. Thankful for the chance to attend school and learn new things, she has taken a special interest in studying the English language. With great bravery, Maahi hopes to protect her community as a police officer. Maahi is certainly no stranger to poverty. Her father earns a meager income working as a farmer, and her mother stays at home to take care of their four children. Despite their hard work, they often struggle provide Maahi with basic essentials, and cannot provide her with the opportunities she needs to succeed. Sponsorship now gives Maahi access to things like a quality education and nutritious meals.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
