Ashika is a quiet but very energetic girl. Though she is more reserved, she loves playing basketball and cooking with her friends. In school, Ashika works hard and enjoys studying the English language. With a gracious heart, Ashika dreams of becoming a nurse so she can help people someday.
Ashika is no stranger to poverty and heartache. Her mother passed away from mental illness when she was just a baby. Her father works hard to provide as much as he can for her, but he is often not home, so Ashika lives with her aunt. With an unsteady income and living situation, Ashika needs help. Through sponsorship, Ashika will receive things like educational assistance and school supplies.

How Sponsorship Works
Choose a child to sponsor from the country of your choice
Receive your welcome packet in the mail with more info on your child
Continue giving monthly or annually to meet your child's needs and write letters to stay in touch

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
