Sushmita is an honest and bright girl and can often be found singing and playing with her friends. She is thankful for the opportunity to go to school and hopes she will be able to become a teacher one day with a classroom of her very own. Sushmita has known sadness and hardship as long as she can remember. Both her parents passed away when she was young and she has been living with her poor relatives ever since. Though they love Sushmita, they are often unable to provide for her basic needs. Through sponsorship, Sushmita will receive things like school fees, supplies, and uniforms.

How Sponsorship Works
Choose a child to sponsor from the country of your choice
Receive your welcome packet in the mail with more info on your child
Continue giving monthly or annually to meet your child's needs and write letters to stay in touch

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
