Maris is a confident little girl and a natural leader. She has many different hobbies including singing, dancing, drawing, and playing basketball. Maris wants to become a nurse when she grows up, so she is working hard in school in order to achieve that goal. When Maris? parents separated a few years ago, she moved with her mother and siblings into her grandfather?s house. Her grandfather does all he can to provide for their needs, but his small income frequently is not enough. Sponsorship will provide Maris with things like healthy food and educational assistance.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
