Rea is a quiet, shy girl who loves to play tag with her friends. She works hard to earn good grades in school and has taken a particular interest in social studies. When she grows up, Rea would like to become a teacher so she can inspire other kids in her community.
Rea’s family is very familiar with the struggles of poverty. Her parents are extremely poor farmers who work on others’ lands. They want the best for their four children, but often they can barely afford to feed them, much less give them a good education. Through sponsorship, Rea will have access to educational assistance.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
