Saruwa is a cheerful and active young girl. In her free time, she can usually be found dancing or playing netball with her friends. Saruwa looks forward to learning new things in school, and someday she hopes to become a nurse so she can help the sick. Saruwa comes from a very poor home life. Her parents are unable to find reliable jobs, so they search for day-to-day work around their village. Frequently, they cannot afford their children?s basic needs, and they are unable to pay for school fees. Sponsorship will now provide Saruwa with access to things like a continuing education, school uniforms, and nutritious meals.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
