Meet Ssekibule

ID: UGAGSS3115

Ssekibule is an active and energetic young boy who prefers to pass the time by playing soccer with his peers. Although he enjoys all of his classes in school, he particularly likes to work with numbers and show off his counting skills. In the future, Ssekibule has big dreams of becoming a pilot so that he can travel the world. Ssekibule comes from a very poor family. His mother and father do not have reliable jobs and are often unaware of how they will afford basic essentials. They are heartbroken by their current situation and desperately want to see their son achieve his goals. Through sponsorship, Ssekibule will receive things like nutritious meals and durable clothing.

“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”

— Lita, Kentucky

“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”

— Kayla, Virginia

“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”

— Margaret, California
