Josephine is a calm young girl with an introverted personality. In her free time, she enjoys staying active by playing netball with her friends. Thankful for the chance to attend school, Josephine loves to learn new things and especially likes her drawing class. With great ambition, she hopes to one day become a nurse and help care for the sick in her village. Josephine is certainly no stranger to poverty. Her father searches for odd jobs throughout their community, but his best efforts often fall short. Since her mother stays at home to take care of the children, she is unable to offer any additional revenue. Oftentimes, Josephine is forced to go without the things she needs.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
