Jonathan is an outgoing and friendly boy who loves riding his bike with his friends in his free time. He enjoys attending school and especially likes his science class. When he grows up, he hopes to become a doctor so he can help the sick people in his community.
Jonathan is no stranger to poverty. His father left, and his mother does her best to provide for him and his brother. She makes a very small income from working odd jobs in the community. Despite her best efforts, Jonathan often goes without his basic needs. But with your sponsorship, he now receives food, medical care, and a continuing education.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
